INE’s director:
“NEW CPI ACHIEVES OECD STANDARD”

      

Presidential decree institutes new methodologies for INE indicators
 
• During the nine months since the new law on transparency came into force, INE has received 1010 requests for information.
The first variation of this indicator will be published the 8 of February at 8:00am
• The price collection will take place countrywide, meeting international requirements for this kind of indicator
      
Supreme Decree No. 322 establishes the new calculation methodology for updating the values of the New Consumer Price Index (CPI) and the New Earnings Index (IR), both produced by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
