INNOVATION SURVEY
The Survey on Innovation and R&D Spending aims to obtain quantitative and qualitative information of private companies, non-profit private organizations, public agencies and educational institutions according to the guidelines issued by the OECD.

This pilot project is part of the cooperation agreement signed between the Secretariat of Economy, Development and Reconstruction and the National Statistics Institute (INE-Chile).

• Type of innovation
• Innovation effects
• Innovation's activities
• Cost and funding of innovation activities
• Information sources and cooperation in innovation activities
• Obstacles for innovation

3. Expenditures and personnel for Research and Development (R&D)
• Total in-house spending in R&D, by type of expenses
• Total in-house spending in R&D, disaggregated by region
• Ordinary in-house spending in R&D, by type of research
• Total in-house spending in R&D, by investigation type and source of funding
• Total in-house spending in R&D, by area of knowledge
• Total in-house spending in R&D, by socio-economic objective
• Outsource spending in R&D, execution and funding sector
• R&D spending outsourced abroad, by source of funding
• Personnel working in R&D
• Personnel working in R&D, formal degree level
• Personnel working in R&D, by area of knowledge
• Personnel working in R&D, by region
• List of employees focusing in R&D within a company
